About

Megan Nasche began dancing at the age of three growing up in the suburbs of Kansas City. Throughout her early years, Megan grew her love for dance in ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, hip hop, modern, and contemporary while training at Le Dance Studio and the Kansas City Ballet. She danced competitively throughout high school and attended Oklahoma City University's "Broadway Bound" Summer Intensive in 2017. Megan also had the unique opportunity to perform in Benicássim, Spain with Hartel Dance Group in 2018.

 

Megan is now a graduate of Point Park University's College of Performing Arts. She has earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance with a concentration in Jazz and a minor in Business Management. While in school, Megan had the opportunity to perform works choreographed by Bob Fosse, Martha Graham, Kiesha Lalama, Jessica Lang, Rozana Sweeney, and Ursula Payne. She was also exposed to new genres such as African, Latin Ballroom, House, Waacking, Locking, Heels, and Belly Dancing.

 

Megan set her first choreographic work for the stage entitled Honest Art in the Fall 2022 Student Choreography Project. Concurrently, she explored dance on film with Hybrid Media Productions- a video production company she co-founded in 2021. Megan has choreographed and performed in many videos produced by Hybrid Media such as Scared, R.I.P., Walk Away, I Told You, and Get It Get ItIn addition, Megan participated in extracurricular dance clubs such as Impulse, Reform, and Sole. At the conclusion of her junior year, Megan was recognized for her outstanding achievement in Jazz, and was awarded the Ron Tassone Memorial Scholarship. Outside of school, Megan received her first professional contract with the Pittsburgh CLO to perform in the annual Rock Steelers Style charity fashion show held at Stage AE.

 

Now that she has graduated, Megan is eager to travel the world, develop her career, and collaborate with other artists. She's completed multiple contracts with WOW! Entertainment to perform and act as Dance Captain in FREAKSHOW and Christmas at the Southern Palace. These "Fright Fest" and "Holiday in the Park" variety shows were choreographed by Eamon Foley for Six Flags Over Texas. Megan also enjoys freelance work- she is on talent rosters for several corporate entertainment companies such as: That's Entertainment KC, Scarlett Entertainment, and A-MAX Entertainment. 

Recently, Megan performed in the Ensemble of Elf: The Musical at TexARTS Theatre in Austin, TX, where she had the opportunity to work under the direction of Rick Roemer. Megan looks forward to choreographing Mean Girls and Alice in Wonderland Jr. for TexARTS 2025 Academy Season. 

Megan strives to be a part of the creative process on both sides of the table. She aspires to have a career not only in performance based roles, but also in choreography, casting, and talent management.

 

Throughout her artistic endeavors, Megan hopes to spread authenticity, laughter, and open-mindedness. In her free time, Megan has developed new passions for fitness and aerial training, and enjoys spending time with her cat, Dream.
